We are a non-denominational group and although we are primarily
Asian anyone is welcome to come!
Events coordinated during the year are:
- Fall and Spring Retreat
- Welcoming Party
- Weekly Bible studies on each campus
- Praise nights in conjunction with the youth group
- Local service projects
- Men's Night Lock-In
If you are interested in any of these events or would like to help
coordinate them, please contact us! And if you do not find a home
at Alpha Omega, please let us know if we can help you find a home
somewhere else.
Our Mission Statement:
We are a community united in Christ that seeks to impact students
through authentic relationships and equipping each other
to reach our campuses for Jesus Christ.
Our Schedule for Friday Night Fellowship:
7:30 - 9:30 PM at UNC campus
Friday nights usually begins with a time of socializing while waiting for everyone to arrive. To kick off the night we begin with a period of worship led by the many talented musicians of Alpha Omega. This time of praise is an act of worship to God and helps us refocus after a busy week of classes. Following praise we may have a short skit or some games that lead into the Speaker Session. Each week we invite different speakers to touch on a variety of topics relevant to our lives as Christians and college students. After the Session, we break up into small groups to discuss issues brought up by the speaker and how we can apply it in a more personal manner. The small groups will also be a vessel for accountability as we encourage and challenge the members of our fellowship. Following the small groups some homemade dessert may be provided, if you’re lucky!
Sunday School Topics:
Our semester long Sunday school classes are listed below. Please
contact us with any questions. Sunday school starts at RCCC at
9:30am every Sunday unless otherwise specified.
- (9:30am) Life & Godliness in God's Promise (Room 133,135) Teacher: Ivan Chinn
How can we live a life filled with God's power while sharing in His precious promises? This semester, we'll use 2 Peter 1:3-8 as a springboard to launch ourselves into discussions about what it takes, starting with goodness and ending with love. Come and join us to see what it all means and how your life can be impacted today!
